Top 5 things to do with an under 5 in surrounding Edinburgh Area

Almond Valley heritage centre - 01506 414957
This is my personal favourite a great day out for all the family...so much better than the zoo for under 5s and great value.
East Links Family Park - 01368 863607
Similar set up to almond valley but more expensive and in my opinion not as well done - however still worth a trip.
Deep Sea World - 01383 411880
A great experience for adults and older kids -the under 5s love it but
wont last more than a couple of hours as some of the centre is too
detailed for them.
Edinburgh Butterfly Farm - 0131 663 4932
This has recently been upgraded and my son loves it - its not really the
butterflys he likes but all the other exotic creepy crawlies and pets
that are on show.
Daytrip to North Berwick
Don't do this trip on a rainy day - however if the sun is shining its a
great day out - North Berwick is a trendy seaside town with a lovely high
strret and beautiful beaches. You can catch a train or bus ...its about a 40 minute drive from Edinburgh.
