Terms & Conditions
  1. This contract applies to any property owners that have signed up to a “premium” listing/feature (including online booking) on any of the Rental Reserve websites/brands including “Let In Edinburgh”, “Let In Wales”, “Rental Bookers”, “Lake Lets” and “Cornwall Self Cater”.
  2. All bookings made by the hirer are made with Rental Reserve UK Ltd ("Rental Reserve") who are an agent/intermediary acting on behalf of the property owner/representing agent ("the Principal").
  3. “Principals” must supply their booking terms and conditions to “Rental Reserve”.
  4. “Rental Reserve” handles all enquiries and will contact the “Principal” if the answer to any question is unknown.
  5. “Rental Reserve” will charge commission of 10% plus VAT to the “Principal” on all bookings.
  6. If a booking is cancelled by either the “Principal” or the hirer, “Rental Reserve's” agent fees/commission is non-refundable.
  7. In the event of the “Principal” cancelling a booking, for whatever reason, the hirer will receive a full refund of all monies held by “Rental Reserve” with regard to the booking. However, a 10% commission will be payable by the “Principal” to “Rental Reserve” in the event of the “Principal” cancelling a booking.
  8. “Rental Reserve” is not liable in any way for bookings cancelled by the hirer, however caused.
  9. The hirer will pay “Rental Reserve” the deposit required (if any) by the “Principal's” terms and conditions on making a booking. This will be in addition to a non-returnable commission paid by the hirer to “Rental Reserve”.
  10. All money will be retained by “Rental Reserve” until successful completion of the stay, after which the “Principal” will receive all monies net of “Rental Reserve's” commission. Alternatively you can connect your booking system to your PayPal or merchant account and any payments will be sent directly to you.
  11. A contract of booking is formed, between the hirer and the “Principal”, when the hirer pays their booking deposit and has their booking request confirmed.
  12. The “Principal” is liable for any claims made by the hirer in the event of the “Principal” cancelling the booking. “Rental Reserve” will not be liable in any way.
  13. The hirer pays a 2% commission when using a credit card, 3% when using American Express and no charge when paying by debit card. Any charges applicable to the “Principal” are included in “Rental Reserve's” commission.
  14. When the “Principal” accepts a booking via their own website a 2% banking charge will be incurred. The hirer pays 2% commission when using a credit card, 3% when using American Express and no charge when paying by debit card.
