The Gathering Edinburgh 2009
The vision of 'The Gathering 2009' was to hold the greatest clan gathering the world has ever seen. The mission was: to stage an international Clan Gathering and Highland Games to celebrate Scotland's rich history and cultural traditions.

Beltane Fire Festival
The Beltane Fire Festival is a colourful and vibrant annual event held during the night of 30th April 2012 on Calton Hill in Edinburgh. Around 12 thousand people come to enjoy the spectacular procession. The festival combines drums, theatre and fire to welcome the arrival of summer season and it has become a very popular event.
Spring Festival
The Edinburgh Spring Festival is a fantastic three day event bringing together thousands of young people from around the world. The event is enjoyed by performers and spectators alike, with everyone celebrating youth happiness, heritage and cultural diversity.
Edinburgh Mela
The Edinburgh Mela brings South Asian and other cultural traditions into the Scottish modern environment - with colourful costumes and gorgeous aromas from the East, the festival is very much worth a visit. You will find traders selling beautiful clothing, jewellery and crafts and get to share the experience with people from Scotland and visitors from abroad.
Edinburgh Jazz Festival
The Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival is the longest running Jazz festival in the UK - with the 34th festival taking place in 2012. The event is also the most diverse of its kind, featuring many different types of jazz performed by top class musicians from across the world.
