Hunter Holiday Cottages are situated in the "Heart of Midlothian", surrounded by beautiful countryside on our working farm, just 10 miles south of Edinburgh, Scotland's historic capital city. An easy 20 minute car drive or a 35 minute bus journey, provided by a good regular service.

Edinburgh cottages provide 3 star rated "Very Good" accommodation, with easy access to Edinburgh city centre, the castles of the Scottish Borders, the sunny East Lothian coastline and North to the Highlands.

Of course during August and September you can also enjoy The Edinburgh Military Tattoo as well as the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe. We are surrounded by 18 golf courses and the Pentland Hills to the south provide pony trekking, hill walking, and Europe's longest dry-ski slope. Rosslyn Chapel is just 5 minutes drive through Roslin Glen.

Stable Cottage is the west cottage of a pair of semi-detached cottages in a converted farm building. The cottage was the original stable for the Clydesdale horses with a hayloft above. Full central heating, electricity, wood, duvets, linen & towels are included.
