The Fishmarket Residence

Set at the bottom of an ancient close just off the Royal Mile, in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Old Town, this modern building sits in fascinating contrast to its mediaeval surroundings. This vibrant area of town offers the visitor a host of historic attractions with Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, and St. Giles Cathedral and numerous museums and galleries on your doorstep. A wide selection of restaurants offers the visitors a range of culinary delights.

The apartment has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard. An attractive open plan living/dining/kitchen area offers intriguing views up Old Fishmarket Close towards the Royal Mile. With wooden floors, leather sofas and a dining table with seating for 4 this space offers pleasant surroundings in which to relax. A DVD Player, TV and radio are provided for leisure moments or when one is finally footsore from the delights of exploring Edinburgh.

A well designed galley kitchen provides dish washer, fridge, freezer, oven and hob, microwave, and grill, plus plenty of cutlery, crockery and cookware. If you tire of sampling the local restaurants everything you might require is on hand should you wish to stay in and cook a meal. A washing machine and clothes dryer are available for the visitor wanting to stay for a longer period.

The apartment provides two comfortable double bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 people. Each room has a large fitted wardrobe providing ample cupboard space. The bedrooms share a smart white tiled bathroom which incorporates a bath with a shower over plus toilet and wash had basin.

The historic nature of the Old Town means that on street parking is not readily available but there are several NCP car parks close at hand for visitors who need to bring a car into the City. Alternatively Park and Ride facilities are located at various points on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
