East Parkside is situated in a modern development based round an old maltings at the edge of Holyrood Park. Just opposite is the University of Edinburgh’s Pollock Halls and the Commonwealth Swimming Pool. The apartment is close to the bustling centre of Newington with excellent local shops, restaurants and bars, it is only a fifteen minute walk to Edinburgh’s Old Town. Excellent local bus services are close at hand, or one can start the day with a brisk walk through Holyrood Park. The Park is really popular with visitors and residents alike – it is possible to walk to the top of Arthur’s Seat to take in the wonderful panoramic views or along to the picturesque Duddingston village pausing only to feed the ever hungry swans and geese that populate the loch.

This immaculate one bedroom apartment is on the third floor (there is a lift) and sleeps 2-4 people. The sitting/dining room has an airy atmosphere and a west facing aspect which makes it a delightfully sunny space. The owners have provided a double leather sofa bed for larger parties and there is aTV with DVD Player, the Virgin Media package gives guests internet access. A dining table which seats up to 4 people is placed near the window, providing a convivial atmosphere for those wishing to eat in.

The adjoining kitchen has been neatly organized to provide all the facilities with which to prepare a meal. There is an oven and hob, washing machine and fridge plus a good supply of crockery and cutlery.

The double bedroom, which also faces west, has a king sized bed and excellent cupboard and drawer space.

A well appointed bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a W.C. and wash hand basin.

Visitors are able to park within the development and are issued with a parking permit to facilitate this.
