This fabulous loft style Mews apartment, sleeping 5 people, is situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town. Tucked away just behind Wemyss Place, it is a mere 5 minutes walk from the west end of Princes Street. Its central location is belied by the extraordinary sense of peace and quiet; even in the middle of the day there is no traffic noise at all. The apartment provides a real sanctuary in the middle of the city, although it is only a stone’s throw from George Street with its rich selection of bars and restaurants and good quality shops. Visitors might also like to explore Stockbridge, which also offers plenty of interesting places to eat and a good range of boutiques, but differs in atmosphere from the city centre being smaller and cosier.

The front door of the apartment leads up a flight of stairs which open into the first floor accommodation. The spacious living area is open plan with kitchen, dining and seating areas. It is wooden floored and benefits from windows on both sides providing an airy, light and attractive ambience. The seating area is arranged around a fireplace and furnished with two comfortable 3 seater sofas, coffee table and rug. The owner has installed a large wall mounted flat screen TV, with surround sound and music system combined. Broadband and WiFi are available.

The dining area has a glass dining table with seating for 6 people and adjacent is the modern kitchen comprehensively equipped with oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine plus Glass, crockery and cookware sufficient for 6 people. At the far end of the living room, a couple of steps lead along a corridor, furnished with a long bookshelf which houses a big selection of games, books, DVDs etc. Immediately to the right is the bathroom, with bath, separate shower, wash hand basin and toilet. To the far end of the corridor are grouped the 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a super king sized zip and linked bed, which can be made up as twins on request. There is ample built in cupboard space available. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a double bed and charmingly retains the original range. The third bedroom is a single.

There is an appealing small patio area to the front of the apartment with attractively grouped plants and a bench should one wish to relax out of doors in a tranquil environment.
