This is truly a home from home. It is below street level at the front and as the street is built on a hill, it is on the ground/first floor level at the back. It has its own front door leading out into a small south-facing area with pot plants and a south-facing garden bench to sit in the sun (folding table and chairs for the summer months).
The living space is floored in maple throughout making it light and airy.
The generous, characterful, double bedroom has a beautiful bow-fronted, mahogany corner wardrobe. It has the window shutters typical of New Town houses.
Modern galley kitchen with ceramic hob and fan-assisted oven. Arched, open hatch giving access to the dining area. The dining table can accommodate 6 (or even 8 if you add the extra leaf).
Sitting room with comfortable sofa-bed and chairs and the charming feature of the original kitchen range (1824) and window shutters. (a further folding bed can be provided on request)
In addition to a good-sized shower unit, the bathroom contains the central heating boiler and a pulley for drying clothes. The bathroom was upgraded in January 2008.
There is broadband access throughout the flat and a number of books and games are available for your entertainment.
WiFi broadband - Television.
