Newhailes is a fine historic house in a fascinating 18th century designed landscape. The house, one of the most important rococo interiors in Scotland, contains a fine collection of paintings. The library played host to famous figures of the Scottish Enlightenment. Much original decoration and furnishings have survived intact. An amazing survival of early 18th century decorative art and collections, set within a late 17th century ‘Villa’, and surrounded by an 18th century Designed Landscape. Take a step back in time for a personal experience that the Scottish Tourist Board rate as Five Star.
