Inveresk Lodge Garden

This sunny hillside garden in the historic village of Inveresk entices visitors with its colourful herbaceous beds, attractive shrubs and old roses selected by Graham Stuart Thomas. Plants and methods are demonstrated here that can be used in your own garden. The fine Edwardian conservatory has an aviary, tree ferns and hardy exotics.
In the informal area, many of the plants hold the Royal Horticultural Societys Award of Garden Merit. The sunny hillside garden provides the setting for the 17th-century Inveresk Lodge (not open to the public) and offers distant views of the Pentland Hills. Restored Edwardian conservatory with aviary.
