Let In Edinburgh

About as central as you can find for Edinburgh. This apartment is on the first floor (US second): you can see the balastrades under the windows in the photograph (above). The photograph also shows how close it is to Gladstone's Land, National Trust for Scotland historic preservation of a typical house in the Royal Mile as it was in the 1600's. The whole area is steeped in history, and here you are only about 200 yards down from Edinburgh Castle itself. At the other end of the Royal Mile (a bit less than a mile away...) is the Palace of Holyrood House.

All around are cafés, places to eat, pubs and shops, including Edinburgh Woollen Mill - discount Cashmere - just below the apartment, and the best cheese shop in Edinburgh just around the corner.

Access to the apartment is by the usual Edinburgh-style shared stairs, and once inside has two bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan sitting/dining/kitchen - and sleeps 4.
