The lovely three bedroom property sleeps up to 9 guests and is on the first floor of a traditional Victorian tenement in the popular area of Bruntsfield, just south of the city centre. It is in easy walking distance of all major tourist attractions, museums and galleries, and only a 15 minute walk from Princes Street. The King's Theatre and Cameo cinema are a few minutes walk away and a wide range of restaurants, bars, boutiques and local food shops are on your doorstep. There are views of Edinburgh castle and Arthur's Seat from across the street in the meadows where you can relax in the sun or enjoy a free round of pitch and putt.
The apartment is furnished comfortably and retains many original features such as decorative cornice work and working shutters. At the front of the apartment is a large, bright living room with plenty of seating and a small dining area. The large eat-in kitchen is well equipped with oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine, as well as a generous selection of crockery, cutlery, glass and cookware, and the table seats 6 guests.
The master bedroom is situated to the rear of the property and is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV and DVD player. It also hosts a double sofa bed for additional guests. A sunny second bedroom also has a double bed. There is also a third bright bedroom with a double bed. Off the living room is a box bedroom with a raised single bed and study area with TV. A shower room with cubicle shower, wash hand basin and WC completes the accommodation.
Wi Fi, TV, VCR, DVD, ipod dock and Freeview are all provided. As are a varied selection of DVDs, VHSs, books and CDs.
There is also a shared garden for guests to use at the rear of the apartment.
Transport to the city centre by bus is only a few yards away from the front door. The closest train station is just ten minutes by bus or five by taxi, and the airport is eight miles away.
A welcome hamper will await guests staying for seven nights or more.
The apartment is non smoking. Stag and hen parties may be considered.
A 25% deposit is payable on booking and the outstanding balance is due 2months prior to your arrival date. Please note we also require a £100 security deposit prior to arrival. We offer a "meet and greet" service whereby you will be met at the apartment to receive keys and be shown the layout etc. Our check in and check out times are flexible and will be arranged prior to your arrival.
