The stable building dates from 1858, however, the internal accommodation is every inch 21st century living. The historic shell with dove cots in the eaves, has many period features retained. Set in the grounds of historic Tranent Parish Manse, with easy access from the A1 motorway, The Stables Cottage provides an ideal luxury retreat or staging point for access to East Lothians Golf Courses countryside hiking and biking, sailing and windsurfing, and many other local attractions.

This two storey property provides accommodation for up to 8 people in the form of 2 en-suite bedrooms on the 1st floor and 2 twin/double bedrooms are on the ground floor, sharing a bathroom and a cloakroom wc. Each of the bedrooms have a television and all beds can be arranged as twins or doubles.

The large comfortable living area, with seating for 8 on 3 large sofas and wall mounted plasma TV, leads to the open plan dining/kitchen area, which has seating for 10 guests and a gourmet kitchen with range cooker.

WiFi broadband and washing and drying facilities are provided for guests use within the house. Externally a large courtyard houses a secure storage facility for golf equipment, bikes, etc., and a rear garden is there for relaxing in / BBQ.
