The Dean Terrace apartment

This typical New Town apartment is situated in Edinburgh’s famous Georgian area in a quiet spot next to the Water of Leith a few minutes walk from a great choice of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops in Stockbridge and only 10 minutes walk from Princes Street.

The 2 bedroom holiday apartment, at garden level, sleeps 4 to 6 people and has been decorated with flair by the owners in a timeless country house style with every consideration for the customers’ comfort. The spacious accommodation is accessed via one external flight of stairs leading to a private entrance area and front door.

A very pretty Master bedroom is grandly furnished with a lovely four poster bed, antique wardrobe and chest of drawers with dressing table mirror and hair dryer. It has an attractive ensuite bathroom with bath, loo and wash hand basin. Molton & Brown toiletries are provided for your use.

The charming second twin bedroom can also be made up with a super king sized bed on request. It also offers a wardrobe and chest of drawers, hair dryer and an ensuite shower room with basin and loo and Molton and Brown toiletries.

The living room benefits from a light and sunny aspect and overlooks a pretty rear garden. It is furnished with a very comfortable double sofa bed for use by larger parties, cosy arm chairs and a kilim covered stool arranged around a real flame fire. There is a dining area with table and chairs directly in front of the windows. The owners have provided a TV with DVD player and there is WiFi access available.

The kitchen is well equipped with oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer. There is plenty of white crockery, glass, cutlery and cookware provided for your use.

A separate loo with small basin completes the accommodation. The back door leads to a pretty paved garden with garden table and chairs which guests are welcome to use – the perfect setting for an alfresco meal.

A deposit of 25% is payable on booking and the outstanding balance of the rental price must be received six weeks before your arrival date. For bookings made less than six weeks before your arrival date the whole rental price falls payable at the time of booking.

We provide a 'meet and greet' service, whereby we will meet you at the property to provide keys and show you the layout. Check in time is from 2pm and check out time is by 11am (unless prior arrangements have been made for a later departure time).

Parking details There is on-street metered parking close to the apartment, or many city centre car parks available.
