The City Centre Suite is your personal, luxury studio space in an exceptionally convenient position. The apartment is set within a (Grade A listed) prestigious Georgian New Town town-house, previously occupied by the world famous Drambuie Whiskey.

Forget taxis or buses, it is only minutes walk from the retail and commercial City Centre of Edinburgh. The apartment is located on York Place opposite the Main Bus Station and a five-minute walk to the Waverley Train station (a regular shuttle bus to the airport takes 25 minutes from Waverley Bridge). If you do want to come by car a parking space nearby can be reserved at the time of booking.

Nearby there is a wide variety of shops, bistros and restaurants as well as The Playhouse Theatre and the Omni Centre cinema complex. For open spaces residents have access to the tranquillity of The Queen Street Garden or a walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens or Inverleith Park.

Outside, the courtyard is furnished with patio table & chairs which is ideal for smokers! An entrance vestibule connects to an open plan sleeping area with a dining area beyond. The shower room/ W.C is located off the dining area.

The sleeping area is double-glazed and centrally heated. It is furnished with a large double bed, which can be split into two singles on request. There is a double wardrobe with drawers, a leather chair, two bedside tables and a console table. There is a wall mounted LCD TV with Freeview TV Channels & a DVD player is available on request. Free wireless internet access is provided for guests use.

The dining area overlooks the courtyard. It contains a microwave, fridge, Kettle, toaster, cutlery and tableware. There is a breakfast bar/ table with luxury leather stools. Tea & coffee is supplied.

The shower room/ W.C is located off the dining area and comprises of a shower, wash hand basin and W.C. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.

Guests also have access to the tranquillity of The Queen Street Garden. The garden is for the exclusive use of New Town Residents and offers a welcome escape from the hustle & bustle of the city.

A 25% deposit is taken at the time of booking. The balance is payable at least 30 days prior to arrival. Should the booking be made within 30 days of the specified arrival date, the outstanding balance will be due once confirmation details are received.

Check in is from 4.00pm onwards on the agreed arrival date. Keys are collected from a Secure Keybox so there is no time-restriction on arrival. Checkout is 10.00am on the morning of the agreed departure date. Should your travel arrangements fall out with these times, we will make every effort to accommodate you and/ or your luggage. This will be subject to previous/future guests arrival/departure times. If you don't wish to be at the mercy of other bookings a late departure or early arrival can be added to the booking for a small charge. There are also coin lockers at St.Andrews Square Bus Station just accross the road.

Parking details A private space can be reserved with a neighbour (at a cost of £8 p.d) on booking. Multi-storey car park opposite. On street metered parking available in Dublin Street.
