Edinburgh's self-catering Castle Apartment is in the centre the Old Town of Scotland's capital. The holiday flat is in a traditional Victorian tenement. There is a magnificent view of Edinburgh Castle from the living room window.

It's a great home base for independent travel on a Scottish vacation. The warm and comfortable interior has - free WI-FI, DVDs, Freeview and there is full central heating and a well equipped kitchen. The shower is a powerful mixer shower.

Castle Apartment is in Edinburgh's historic Grassmarket. This large open square was the scene of public hangings, the Porteous Riots and the haunt of the notorious body snatchers, Burke and Hare. There is a wonderful selection of specialist shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and it is only a three-minute walk to the Edinburgh Royal Mile. During the Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe this lively area overflows with street performers, musicians and special events. The Royal Mile starts at Edinburgh Castle and leads down to the Royal Palace of Holyrood and the stunning new Scottish Parliament building. A large peaceful park, the Meadows, is only a few minutes walk away from Castle Apartment.

Less than ten minutes walk away are four cinemas including the Cameo and the Filmhouse plus four theatres including the Traverse Theatre and the Royal Lyceum Theatre.

A 25% deposit is payable on booking, with a further 25% deposit payable once confirmation has been received. The outstanding balance is then due on arrival. Normally check in is from 4pm and check out is by 11am, however let us know what suits you and we will arrange something.

We will meet you at the property to hand over keys upon Check-in. Baggage Drop is by arrangement only.

There is a large multi-storey car park is only 150m away at King Stable's Road. Guests can also use the Apex International car park right next door to the apartment.

Parking details Parking is not included with this apartment and on-street metered parking can be expensive. Longer term parking options can be provided.
