The apartment was fine but obviously some peoples version of 'Luxurious' are different to others!
A great birthday weekend for my wife in this lovely city, along with our friends (3 couples) was spoilt by the owner of the apartment virtually accusing us of stealing a bath robe, he was insistant that there were 2 robes in the apartment but I assured him there was only 1 on our arrival (which we never used).
Four days after our departure I was informed of the missing robe, several emails back and forth later he was insistant that we had taken a bath robe and was going to take a payment of £39.95 for the cost of a replacement! We are all professional people and would never dream of taking a robe from the apartment, at this point I had to put a stop on my credit card so no payment could be taken.
As I previously said this affair spoilt a really good weekend with our freinds and we will never stay here again, if you do choose to stay here I would advise you to do an infantry check of the apartment with the owner on your arrival to avoid the hassle and upset that I incurred.
