This place really is the bees knees. I would whole heartedly recommend it. I couldn't think of a better location, which was perfect for exploring Edinburgh - literally a minutes walk from the castle. We didn't find it noisy, as it is off the main street. The bed was super comfy, there were some really lovely touches throughout, and we loved the bathroom.

I have to say the whole place is decorated with care and thought, and Amanda couldn't have been kinder or more helpful to us throughout the booking process and suggesting amazing places to eat (the castle terrace restaurant tasting menu is amazing!). We have high expectations, and this surpassed them.

This possibly sounds all a bit too good to be true, or like I've been paid to say this.... or even possibly like I've been drinking - but I haven't. This place really is just what we were looking for. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We found the apartment a perfect base for our week-end stay. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and very well equipped and appointed Close to excellent bars and restaurants. We will be booking it again and have already recommended it to friends.

Well located, well priced, very comfortable accommodation. Amanda was very efficient to deal with, very helpful and friendly. We found the apartment could be affected by pedestrian street noise at night time. Older people might find access to the apt difficult, then also access to the bedroom and in and out of the shower. Handy to have use of washing facilities. Due to limited windows, not a lot of natural light or outlook, but compensated by subtle mood and candle light. Nice thought with welcome wine and fruit mince pies on arrival. Would recommend as a great base for a stay in Edinburgh!

We stayed at this great apartment for one week ( i wish it could have been longer ) .The location is fantastic , right next to all of EDINBURGHS great tourist attractions ie 50 mtrs from the castle & right next to the ROYAL MILE . There are also some great pubs & restaurants nearby . The apartment is so quiet at night you wouldnt realise you are in a big city . We shall return !

This apartment is truely stunning! Its so quirky and has been renovated to a really great standard. The bed is so comfortable and the sheets are amazing. Lovely hotel toiletries and towels make it a really lively stay! Would highly recommend and I will be booking again next year. Thanks Amanda for a wonderful break.

Had a great time for the Fringe Festival. We stayed for 8 days, 3rd time for the Fringe in August. Great location, in the middle of things but quiet at night. Pictures are all spot on. Amanda stopped by to make sure everything was OK, and everything was great!

Had a fantastic weekend at the apartment. It is absolubtely gorgeous and great value for money. You couldn't ask for a better location either. Will definitley be staying again whenever we are in Edinburgh.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay! We were there for three days over August and it's a fantastic alternative to a hotel. The location can't be beaten, within a minutes walk of the Castle with restaurants and shops very locally, but also very quiet and private once you're in the door. Beautifully restored and taken care of, and very large inside (the pictures don't give a full scale of the lovely double height ceiling). Amanda is an extremely helpful landlord, we had no trouble whatsoever during our stay.

As the 2nd person to stay at the flat, I can confirm the trash bin has been added thus completing all the facilities that this flat needs :) We had a wonderful time in Edinburgh, and the excellent quality housing positively contributed to that. The flat is centrally located, within walking distances from all the Edinburgh sites. Inside, we found everything we needed: sparkly clean linen and towels, internet+TV, fully equipped kitchen and even candles to contribute to the atmosphere.
Suggestions for improvement: a light source above the bathroom sink would be good, and a couple more shelves/drawers to allow guests to easily unpack their suitcases for longer stays. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay at Victoria Terrace!

I was the first person to stay in this flat and it is absolutely lovely. The location is top notch. It was beautifully decorated and very well-equipped with just about anything you could need.

My one note is that it was missing rubbish bins and bags. It may also be worth supplying a drying rack for dishes and the washing machine. However I still had a wonderful stay.
