I don't think there could be a better option for a solo visitor to the Edinburgh Festival. What more do you need? A bed, an en-suite toilet and shower, access to a bath and a kitchen. Everything was clean and in great condition -- which makes sense since this is a recent build. A few more years of student use in term time might cause some wear and tear.

The block is about 15 minutes walk from the Royal Mile, the adjoining meadows are lovely, and it's easy to find cafes etc. nearby.
