“Five Stars all the way”

We spent 3 nights during the final weekend of the Tattoo. Our son and his wife were traveling with us, and extended friends and family were in another 2 bedroom apartment on our floor. I can't say enough good things about this place.

The rooms were perfect, the welcome treats in the kitchen were very much enjoyed and appreciated, the off street parking was a major plus, and the staff members were just incredibly helpful and kind. The location is excellent, and as for the "adult venues", we would not even have known what they were but for the signs on the buildings. We were out every night and had absolutely no problem and felt very safe. This place is five star all the way. (We also enjoyed two nearby restaurants very much--Two Thin Laddies and Stac Polly on Grindley St.)

"Our Very Own Flat in Edinburgh!!”

We had a little trouble finding it as our GPS kept losing its signal within the city, but we called the front desk and they helped us get to the front door. The gentlement at the front desk came right outside got in the car with us and helped us to their parking area. He helped us with our bags and up to our 2 bedroom apartment which was a welcome sight after our little adventure. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Although we were only there for 1 night (wished it was longer), the kitchen was stocked with a whole loaf of bread, cereals, milk, juice, etc. and clothes detergent for the washer/dryer combo. We were just married a few days before checking in and I inquired with the front desk about shipping my dress home to the USA. Colin was wonderful! He looked up all of the possible shipping options for me and gave me a box and packing materials to package up my dress. He went above and beyond to help me and I really appreciated it. We felt very welcome here and loved that we were so close to everything. The next time we are in Edinburgh we will definitely stay here again!!!!

"Good place to stay for sightseeing”

Excellent staff in reception for these serviced apartments. We stayed in a separate building, and felt more like residents than hotel guests. Could not fault the apartment itself; very clean, comfortable and quiet, with a nice added touch of a basket of breakfast goodies on arrival that kept us going for the duration of our stay. Only downside is the area the apartments are located in; a few lap dancing bars just around the corner which some may find distasteful. Easy walking distance to the main sights in Edinburgh.

“Great Location, Excellent Service”

I stayed at the end of our stay in Scotland. I was traveling with my wife, our 15 month old and my wife's parents. The two bedroom apartment was clean and well furnished. Parking was secure and free. There were no problems dropping out rental car and luggage off early on our first day and leaving them late on our last day. We were provided a nice welcome basket with breakfast supplies and a fridge stocked with milk etc. There was a small grocery store nearby so we had no trouble getting food for breakfasts.

The apartment had a dishwasher which we used and washing machine / dryer which we did not.

The location was ideal for walking around Edinburgh, close to the Grassmarket, Royal Mile, Castle and Princess Street. There are two lap dancing places nearby but beyond the signs we really didn't notice. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night and street noise was minimal and we had no trouble getting to sleep.

We were provided with a crib and high chair with no issues at all and they were ready and waiting when we checked in.

Service from the front desk was exceptional and I would return to these serviced apartments based on this great service alone!

“Great experience & service”

We can't say enough good things about the folks at the Lauriston Apartments. The location was great for getting everywhere we needed to go too. But most importantly was the service. We had a problem with luggage not fitting in the small car we rented to tour the country afterwards. The staff suggested leaving the golf cases & they would ship them to the airport via taxi when we were ready to leave. They took care of everything & saved us from having to rent another vehicle. Great friendly folks!
