My husband & I spent the week of Sept 7/14th at this Allanfield Apt and were exceedingly delighted with this beautifully decorated apartment, terrific location, the overall comfort and attention to our well being by the property manager, Elaine. If you arrive by car there is private parking, you are within walking distance to London Rd & it's lovely park (be sure to visit Calton Hill in this park). There is a lovely french bakery/cafe only 3 blocks. Truly an exceptional location, plenty of space to relax after a wonderful day of discovery. We are so glad we chose Allanfield for our stay!!

Lovely accommodation, modern decor, comfy beds, very well equipped. (Having a bad back I would have preferred a chair as an alternative to the sofas) Quiet residential area, within walking distance of the city centre. Close proximity to local shops and bus stops. Bus service is so good its easier to leave your car in the apartment parking area. Good value for money given that we stayed during festival time and that linen, towels electricity, wi-fi etc is included. Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment, very clean, comfortable and a nice modern feel about it. The apartment had some nice touches such as DVD's and the owners provided plenty of information on Edinburgh. The apartment is only 2 minutes from the shops and restaurants of Leath Walk and is 5-10 minutes walk to Princes street and the centre of Edinburgh and, in the opposite direction, Holyrood. Booking was easy and communication with owners excellent.
Great value for money and highly recommended.

Visited Edinburgh for a wedding and Allanfield had everything we needed. Comfy beds, modern, clean, close to the wedding in the centre of town. It is in a nice residential part of town off a main road so was quiet. Every one of us said we would use Allanfield again if we came back to Edinburgh. We would recommend.

This was my second stay at Allanfield and the place didn't disappointment this time either. I love the apartment. It ticks all the boxes. The place is very clean and modern. It is lovely and quiet but within an easy walk of all the shops and bus routes. Plus it has free parking. A real bonus in Edinburgh. We had a 'wee' hicup with the shower but the owners came round very quickly and sorted it. The beds were comfortable and the lounge was spacious. We had a great time here and will return without question next time we are in Edinburgh again.

Apartment was clean and impressive. Lots of extras I wasn't expecting eg shaving foam, deodorant, conditioner, shampoo, tooth paste etc etc
Only stayed in Edinburgh for 3 nights and wished it had been longer. Worked out much cheaper for the 5 of us here than a hotel. If I had to pick fault all I would say is that there were no cushions on the leather suite!

Have been to Edinburgh 4 times and always stay in a holiday flat. Usually the flats are a disappointment compared to the photos but this flat was totally the opposite. The pictures do not do it justice and what a good price we paid. Even had free parking. Only down side was it rained and rained but I suppose thats Edinburgh!

Lovely apartment. Very comfortable with good facilities. Would return and recommend to others.

We all had a fantastic time in Edinburgh and really enjoyed ourselves. The apartment was very comfortable and very nicely decorated – very impressive!!

I think I can easily state on behalf of all of us that we thought the apartment was an excellent find and very good value for money.
