Beautiful property, perfect for a short break in the city. Great bars, cafes and restuarants within 5 mins walk, with a big supermarket up the road. Incredibly comfy beds, beautiful decor and plenty of space for 10 people. We were greeted by Richard's assistant, who was really helpful and had milk and daily papers ready for us to settled in. We were a family of 8 of mixed ages and all arriving at different times from differing part of the North of England. Richard was very kind and allowed us to have the house early to enable Asda to deliver our food supplies. The house was excellent. Beautifully decorated, very warm on what was a cold week-end, and the beds were a treat, very comfortable with beautiful linen. The amenties in the area were excellent and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you.

I booked the Broughton Apartment for a family wedding and several offspring and grandchildren stayed there for a wonderful weekend. Everyone said what a fabulous place it was,SO comfortable and well equipped. We hosted a lunch party on the Sunday and there was everything needed to feed and "refresh" a large gathering! Richard was so kind and allowed us to leave later on our departure day to make things easier. Do visit his restuarant The Smokestack it's great fun and the food is fab. Many thanks for a great stay in this superb house.

We are a group of 9 ladies who travelled to Edinburgh to participate in the MoonWalk. The owner could not have been more accommodating, allowing us to stay later on the day of departure to enable us to get a few hours sleep. The location is fantastic, close to some lovely bistros and restaurants and a short walk to the city centre. The apartment is beautifully furnished, spacious, very well equipped and clean. Best of all, the beds and linen are really comfortable as they split into singles. Ideal place for a group of friends for a weekend away. Thank you Richard.

We visited for my 40th birthday and we were delighted with the accommodation! It was spotless and very well equipped. Lovely rooms and bedding and wardrobe/drawer space :-). Great with the wifi and the iPod docking stations up and downstairs! Fab dining room table, great for the 10 of us! Bathrooms clean and great showers. Lovely decor. Very handy to walk up slight hill to princess street and regular buses that the grandparents used (and grand kids!). Got parked just outside free over the weekend so that also a plus! Garden also lovely and just added to the spacious feel. Bedrooms very large. Just having the freedom of being in such
lovely accommodation meant I had an even better birthday than hoped! We would definately book here again :-). Only totally minor thing (very minor) is take dishtowels as there was only 1! Heaps of other lovely towels tho!

absolutely gorgeous flat, very spacious indeed, perfect to relax in but you could also hold meetings if you wanted, have a dinner party! Over two levels so not good if someone has mobility problems, but gives great spaces and privacy for a big group. fantastic decor throughout and a great location.

We had an excellent weekend in the apartment and would throughly recommend it as a place for groups to stay.

This bank holiday weekend myself and 5 of my closest friends stayed at the Broughton Apartment 2. We were expecting it to be nice, but not to be quite as fantastic as it was. When I arrived, the girls had already been there and had spent the time exploring the flat and admiring everything, from the 12 seater (I think) dining room with the french doors to the garden, to the beautiful sitting room with the big fireplace, lovely couches, and library, to the fancy bedrooms with the big wooden shutters and beautiful wardrobes, and the lovely kitchen. The duvets were particularly popular, and the lovely touch of leaving some Scottish delicacies and milk for us went down very well, particularly as we had shortbread and coffee in the morning. The street the apartment is on is lovely, and the walk to princes street perfect, past lots of lovely little restaurants. The owners/managers were very friendly and easy to deal with too. The photographs of this apartment don't do it justice. We would stay again in a flash.

The property was fantastic. Really well appointed, with great facilities. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating.
