Good central location. Good value for money.

Castle Wynd really is the perfect location for the festival. The view of the castle is a real treat and the tiny balcony useful if you are a smoker. To be honest I thought the apartment was shabby and tired but to be fair it was clean and had everything you would need. It does have a cosy charm. The Property Manager was a great support and let us check in bit early which was helpful. We had a problem with the front door handle coming off and he was there within 10 minutes which is brilliant service.

Excellent location with everything you need. Just wish it has a bath. However, I've already booked to return later this year.

Great little apartment me and a friend stayed for 3 nights - good location in a king sized bed - great view :)

Dark @ night as lights faulty and lots of stairs probably for that reason not good for small childen/babies elderly

My friend and I stayed 3 nights in this apartment & were very impressed with how clean & welcoming it was; it's in an ideal location for shopping & sight-seeing so suited us perfectly! It is on the top floor of its building so be prepared for some windy stairs, that wasn't a problem for us but these stairs were not lit at night, 3 flights of old stone steps in absolute darkness is pretty daunting to say the least...For less able people or families with young children this place mightn't be for you. Maybe we were unlucky & it was a temporary fault but it did take from the apartment, particularly when we had to haul luggage downstairs in the early morning darkness! Overall we had a great stay however & would recommend it!

Loved our stay at Castle Wynd. The views and proximity to the Castle were excellent. Flat is well appointed and everything we needed. If we are ever in Edinburgh again we would not hesitate in staying there again.
