Shopping in Edinburgh

One of Britain's oldest department stores is in Edinburgh. Located in its original position in Princes Street since 1838, the magnificent building features over one hundred different departments selling everything from designer fashion to delicious food and drink. One of the newest addition to the Edinburgh shopping scene is Harvey Nicols, the "intentional luxury lifestyle store". Located in the Eastern end of St Andrews Square, it is packed full of luxury cosmetics, menswear, womenswear, accessories, food and homeware. Fun to visit even if you don’t max out your credit card!

Princes Street is the well known home to many major high street stores and George street provides an elegant thoroughfare where you can indulge in a spot of shopping before popping in for a coffee or a well earned drink in one of the many fashionable bars! Edinburgh also has many unique boutiques and designer furniture stores, which are well worth a visit.
